Have you ever heard of the Color Run? It’s one of the best ideas I’ve ever heard of. I LOVE the idea of making running a fun thing!
You should definitely check out Allison’s rendition of our adventure – she had some more pics of the fun :)
Let’s start off by looking at pictures of what most people look like after the Color Run.

SO FUN!!!!
Well okay, our experience was nothing like that, but here we are, before the race. Look at our lovely white canvases just waiting to be full of color!

Bob was our picture-taker and pumper-upper, soon to be life-saver.

The kiddos were chill and content throughout the whole day!

So we start the 5k. It had rained the night before in Austin, so we knew it might be a little muddy. Who knew the whole race was on a dirt trail, and it had turned into some of the thickest, stickiest mud ever. I think it only made it more fun :) Mud was everywhere, but we got a dang good workout pushing those bad boys through the sludge.

Well, we reached a point where we physically couldn’t go any further. Even people without strollers were at a loss of what to do. So Allison called Bob, he rolled up his pants, braved the mud, and came down to help us. We ended up throwing the strollers over the fence (which was the side of a highway), and walked back up the way we came. Hilarious.

How fun is the pink?!

The rest of the day was super chill, and we just hung out and kept laughing about our fun adventure. And we worked on Cooper and McKenna’s wedding slideshow a bit, too :)
