I know these two love birds from the small group I attend at Redeemer. It’s been so much fun getting to know them and learning more about their FUN personalities.

Amanda is super creative, too. So that always adds an awesome touch.

Ted is in Med school, and Amanda is in PT school… Both which require an insane amount of studying. So the library seemed like the reasonable place to go.

It was my first time to met Kaitlan and Nathan, and not only did we hit it off, but we discovered that we have about 3920853 mutual friends. SO FUN!

We bonded over Dr. Pepper, a beautiful sunshiny day, and you know… the whole Red Raider thing :)

Kaitlan and Nathan met when they both worked at the United Spirit Arena at Texas Tech, and Nathan also proposed at the United Spirit Arena. So we started out there for some sweet, sentimental pictures.

Hello, internet friends.

You peeps might remember the lovely Tracy and Joe. Before we did their engagement session, Tracy and I were talking about ideas for Save the Date cards. She had the adorable vision of writing the wedding date on their feet – which turned out so so cute! And we were both inspired from an entry over at Design Aglow. So we weaved those ideas in and out and came up with this!

Tracy made the letters with colorful scrapbooking paper – it’s just the funnest thing ever!!

Me: So basically, y’all are about to flirt it up hardcore for the next couple hours.

Kaylyn: Oh, we’re so good at that!!

She wasn’t kidding, folks. These two were flat out adorable, and they just couldn’t get enough of each other. I kept hearing sweet little, “i love you’s” throughout our session, and it made me so happy. It’s a fun feeling knowing you are capturing something truly genuine and fully heartfelt.

Ah yes, and not to mention… It was COLD and WINDY the morning of our session. Kaylyn was a huge trooper, and we showed the West Texas wind what’s up.

These two lovebirds met on the Texas Tech track team. Michael threw javelin and Katie ran – which brings me to something fascinating. Am I the ONLY person who didn’t know what the Steeplechase was?? If you don’t, you should totally google it. That’s what Katie did in track and I was totally impressed.

Another fun fact… I first met Katie as her barista when I worked at Starbucks. Yep, I made her coffee. Now I make her pictures… haha that was cheesy.

These two are ADORABLE. They both have a dang good sense of style, too. Amanda works at Anthropologie, so you can only imagine the amount of inspiration she gets every day :)

And by the way. I absolutely LOVE it when couples bring along ideas and props. It makes the session extra special and you end up with fun stuff like this.

These two lovebirds have been dating for FOUR years! High School sweethearts from the big town of Big Lake. I love it.

We had a good ol time scootin’ about Lubbock, and it was so great to get to know Ashton and Brice better. They’re getting married in June at Spirit Ranch, so get excited!!

I met this sweet couple in Fort Worth last week. They came from Houston and I came from Lubbock – why oh why is Texas SO BIG!!

My good friend Keina gave Brittany and Tolu this session as a present – what a sweet friend, huh?! It was such a wonderful time with these two, even though it drizzled the whole time… But we definitely made lemonade with our lemons :)

Joe sent out a top secret e-mail back in January, telling the Morenas it was time to go ring shopping.

Sidenote: The Morenas are Tracy, Lindi, Amy and I. We took a trip to Mexico a couple years ago, and at the time, we were all brunettes – hence the name Morenas. Yep, we’re cool. We named ourselves :)

Well fast forward a couple months, and BADA BING! Or shall I say, BADA RING! Bahaha.

It was such a joy to shoot their engagement photos, because these two are SO in love and so adorable. And I’m super duper proud to say that I’ll be a bridesmaid in their wedding!! Yayyyyyy!

Another thing to get excited about… Tracy had an amazing idea for their save the dates, so once she sends those babies out, I’ll be sharing the goodness with you blogsters.

I love love love meeting new couples. Well, not new to each other (obviously), but new to me, by golly! In fact, these two have been together about six years – so fun!

We had a good time cruisin’ the Lubbock streets while getting to know each other better, too. All I’m sayin’ is that when you get on my blog in May, you might be seeing some SWEET dancing photos from their wedding. I was warned that Danny has some mad moves that are only brought out on special occasions :)
