Talk about CUTE!!

Our session was filled with lots of laughing, a little bit of crying, and a good amount of candy eating :) You gotta do what you gotta do, right? And I think it’s worth saying that I not only LOVE shooting families (in the good way, of course), but let me tell you what… I have been getting so many parenting tips for someday down the road. So thank you…. haha

Oh and PS. Kristen and her friend Allison have a blog called Lullaby Lubbock, and you should definitely check it out.

vernon family

December 1, 2009

This family is just flat out precious. They all have beautiful, passionate hearts for the Lord, and I’ve been encouraged by every one of them. It was so much fun getting to catch up during our session, too! (We’ve got the Clovis connection going on here…)

Anyhow, here are some favorites from our session.

November 30, 2009

Tomorrow is December 1. WOW.

Here are the lovely Blalocks. Stuart of Studio 84 tends to show up at a lot of the weddings I shoot :) He does video and is AWESOME at it, and it’s always a super bonus when Alison comes along too.

strebeck family

November 23, 2009

I guess this is the post of Strebeck family photos, in more way than one.

Oooooo what could that possibly mean?! Well, I’ll tell you. Aric and Casey from Aric Alan Photography took our family photos yesterday, and they just put up some photos on their blog. Jordan and I hardly have any pictures of us together, so it’s just an awesome feeling to have such close friends and awesome photographers capture our life together. So yeah, take a looksee.

But onto the other Strebeck family. This stylin’, rockin’, awesome family. I love them dearly and they are fu-uh-un to take pictures of.

booth family

November 18, 2009

Oh, where to begin with this family! Let me just say that I couldn’t imagine our lives without them. They’ve been a huge blessing, awesome role models, and SUCH fun hangout buddies. I could go on, but I might start getting all mushy, and that’s not why you’re here. You’re here to see some pictures, right?? So here we go!

the dahkle family

Some of you might know I used to work at Starbucks while I was building up my photography business. It was the most perfect job for me at that time, and I even miss it every now and then… But I mostly miss the people. I still see them often, but it’s just not the same :)

With that said, Sara now works at the Starbucks I used to work at. I must admit, my first time walking into the store and seeing a new face was a LITTLE weird for me… But I’m over that now, and I’ve come to find out that Sara is just wonderful! I enjoyed spending some time with her and her hubby during our mini-session. Here are some favorites.

I told them they have some of the most pleasant smiles I’ve ever seen… Don’t you agree?!

dunnihoo family

November 10, 2009

I love making small world connections. I mean, I’m completely aware that in West Texas, it’s not a huge surprise that so many people are connected in one way or another, but STILL!

After I met the sweet Dunnihoo’s, we started talking about where we were from and whatnot, and what do I find out? My best friend and roommate through college was best friends with Jessica in third grade. Haha I love it.

Anywho, SUPER cute family. Here are some from our Mini-session

hastings family

Laura and Brent definitely have a special place in my heart, as cliche as that sounds. Laura and I were youth interns together back in the day, and we both got married the same summer. We’ve got to experience a lot of fun stuff together, and a fair share of tough stuff, too. Now we’re in the same small group at our church, so it’s fun to be a part of each others’ crazy lives again.

These two are taking advantage of the Mini-session Christmas Card Extravaganza! Check out the Christmas 2009 tab for more details on that.

Here they are with Ace.

nichols family

November 6, 2009

Now, onto the other Farwell family session I had. After playing in the cotton fields for a while, I went to Ashley and Logan’s house. Their sweet boy, Cooper, was ready to go, already cheesing it up for me.

Ashley and Logan had a little contest going because they both chose some rustic places where we could take pictures. Both locations were equally as rustic and awesome :) Good job, you two.
