Talk about CUTE!!
Our session was filled with lots of laughing, a little bit of crying, and a good amount of candy eating :) You gotta do what you gotta do, right? And I think it’s worth saying that I not only LOVE shooting families (in the good way, of course), but let me tell you what… I have been getting so many parenting tips for someday down the road. So thank you…. haha
Oh and PS. Kristen and her friend Allison have a blog called Lullaby Lubbock, and you should definitely check it out.

I guess this is the post of Strebeck family photos, in more way than one.
Oooooo what could that possibly mean?! Well, I’ll tell you. Aric and Casey from Aric Alan Photography took our family photos yesterday, and they just put up some photos on their blog. Jordan and I hardly have any pictures of us together, so it’s just an awesome feeling to have such close friends and awesome photographers capture our life together. So yeah, take a looksee.
But onto the other Strebeck family. This stylin’, rockin’, awesome family. I love them dearly and they are fu-uh-un to take pictures of.

oh avery. such a turkey :)

gap kids model, perhaps?

look at their cute smile lines :)

This little family is adorable. Megan with her awesome red hair, and Matt with his cheerleading abilities :) and then there’s precious Riley who just soaks up life like a sponge.
Here are some of my favorites.

look at this pretty little princess! you can really tell she FEELS like a princess, too. love it.

Oh, where to begin with this family! Let me just say that I couldn’t imagine our lives without them. They’ve been a huge blessing, awesome role models, and SUCH fun hangout buddies. I could go on, but I might start getting all mushy, and that’s not why you’re here. You’re here to see some pictures, right?? So here we go!

Dignan the Reindeer! How cute is that?

Allison’s family was in town last weekend, so we got to do some pictures of the whole gang

such a beautiful family

LOVE it!

Ella maybe wasn’t feeling it in this one… but it’s still cute :)

This photo captures Ella’s power walking face and form.

what a perfect one to end on, right?

I love making small world connections. I mean, I’m completely aware that in West Texas, it’s not a huge surprise that so many people are connected in one way or another, but STILL!
After I met the sweet Dunnihoo’s, we started talking about where we were from and whatnot, and what do I find out? My best friend and roommate through college was best friends with Jessica in third grade. Haha I love it.
Anywho, SUPER cute family. Here are some from our Mini-session

Now, onto the other Farwell family session I had. After playing in the cotton fields for a while, I went to Ashley and Logan’s house. Their sweet boy, Cooper, was ready to go, already cheesing it up for me.
Ashley and Logan had a little contest going because they both chose some rustic places where we could take pictures. Both locations were equally as rustic and awesome :) Good job, you two.

A couple days ago, I went to Farwell, TX, and did a couple family sessions, and was introduced to the world of cotton farmers. It was pretty awesome.
There’s something about standing in the middle of a cotton field. It’s SO beautiful and peaceful, too. Then you had a sweet, precious family to the mix and it’s a good time for everyone!

the whole gang came out for a couple pictures

all the farmers together

we went back to their house for a little outfit change, and they started busting out some tunes

we did a couple in front of their GORGEOUS new home

and ended with some fun :)

Jordan and I met Jacob and Julie back in the day when we were a part of the Southcrest University Ministry. I actually went to a small group that met at the Hubik’s, and I remember we switched locations at one point because they were about to have a baby. Now, we all go to Redeemer, little Hays is so grown up, and Will is a part of the precious Hubik family, too!
And a little side note, Julie is the owner and doctor of Audiology at Cornerstone Audiology, so if you are ever in need of an Audiologist, she’s your girl :)
Onto the cuteness!!

a little brotherly love :)

so sweet!

Hays REALLY knows his football

aaand an attempt with the WHOLE fam!

I know this family all because of Starbucks. Christa started out as my intimidating shift supervisor :) then quickly became a dear friend. And even though I don’t work at ol Starbucks anymore, I still see Christa often, and I still love being a part of her family’s life. I started working there right when Christa found out she was pregnant with Elijah, and I think I gained 10 pounds throughout her pregnancy… she always had the best food up at work :)
One thing about Christa… she always supported me as I pursued photography. She knew I loved working at Starbucks, but she always knew my goal was to do what I love, photography, full-time, and she always stood by my side as I made that journey. So thanks for that, Christa. It’s because of people like you that I am doing what I love.
But before I start getting all emotional, I better just get onto the cuteness overload of these photos.
