It’s so sad to see all these second year peeps moving onto their next stage of life. But I’m sure glad I get to take their pictures here in Boston before they peace out.

Matt is a fellow classmate of Jordan at Harvard Business School, and it has been a complete JOY to get to know him and Allye. They’ve had a long distance relationship, as Allye lives in Dallas, but we are soooo excited that she’ll be Boston bound in the fall as Mrs. Attaway!

When we lived in Lubbock, we always had people in and out of our home, and we loved it that way. Matt was one of the first people in Boston who filled that empty spot and knew he could pop in at any time. Definitely one of those ahhh-Boston-kinda-feels-like-home moments.

Why am I talking about our open-door policy?? I have pictures to share. Get ready to lay your eyes on one of the best-looking couples you’ve ever seen.

We started out at a coffee shop called Brewed. Not only is it eye candy, but the people who work there were all amazing and so welcoming/helpful/friendly. If you live in Fort Worth, go to Brewed!!

Here are some other fellow first-years at Harvard Business School. It’s always nice to meet someone who’s in the same boat as you. And it’s fun, because I feel like everyone is finally settling into their new “normal.” It feels good. :)

I know, guys. It’s not even October yet. But all I know is that I’m leaving Boston for Thanksgiving, and won’t be back until February. So that means there will be no last minute Christmas Card business around here. I’m going to offer sessions on two days in October on Harvard Business School’s campus, and then we’ll let the card designing fun begin!

Every year around this time, I have a package deal for Christmas Mini Sessions. Usually, a family session can last up to two hours, but we all know you just need that one (or two or five or ten) picture(s) for THE Christmas Card. So that’s why I’ve put together this deal that will hopefully be perfect what you’re wanting this time of year.

If you and your family are going to be out of town during the weekend I’m shooting, don’t hesitate to ask – we’ll figure something out. Oh, and I also think it’s worth mentioning that Christmas Mini Sessions are NOT just for families! Couples, friends, you and your dog… These sessions are for anyone :)

It seems like yesterday I was taking Bailley’s high school senior pictures. You might remember her sweet family’s photos from earlier this year. And now she’s engaged to Robert, and they’re getting married next June! These two are meant for each other – that’s for sure. They have so much fun together (as you will see)!

I had the privilege of taking these beautiful people’s pictures because Patricia won a 30-minute portrait session at a charity event a while back. Who knew that in 30 minutes (okay, maybe it was 45) you could cuddle on the couch, kiss a lot, show off your awesome dancing skills, and hang out at the park. Oh, and look awesome while doing so. Well, Patricia and Raul did all of those things very well.

I think the only appropriate way to start this post it to take a real quick down memory lane…

Hilary, Amy and I go way back. We met our freshman year of college, lived together for three years, and now we all pretend to be adults and stuff. The photo above was back in college, right before we left to go prank some friends – pretty hardcore. I almost posted a few more, but they were a little too embarrassing :) And I don’t want to get off track, because the focus of this post is the fact the Hil is getting married to John!!

John is a goober, and Hil laughs at him. It’s a pretty sweet thing they’ve got going on :)

John is a pilot, so we went up to his hanger and took some pictures with the plane he flies.

Remember when Matthew proposed to Sabrina?

And remember when it was 20 degrees this past Saturday? That’s when we took engagement photos. Haha. OH MY it was cold. But we all powered through and had such a fun time while freezing our tails off.

My mouth hurt afterward because of a constant smile. These two choose joy always, and their joyfulness is so contagious. Oh, and Matthew does ridiculous things like eat Sabrina’s hair or lick her face, so that always makes people laugh, too. Oh, Matthew.

I met Bo freshman year at Texas Tech, and we’ve been close friends since (almost NINE years?? yikes). I could go on and on about how great Bo is and what a wonderful friend he is, but that’s just not the point of this blog post (or the fact that I’m no longer “college-age”), is it? :)

The point is that OHMYGOODNESS, Bo and Caroline went on a blind date (not just a blind date… an i’m-flying-from-midland-to-houston-for-a-date blind date), hit it off, fell in love, got engaged, and are getting married in July. Now that’s a fun story.

What else is fun is the fact that these two are stinkin’ cute, and laugh a lot, which works out great for pictures :)
