I knew Robby back in high school… I was a senior, and he was in sixth grade. I know that’s only six years difference, but in high school, that’s huge!! Anyway, it blew my mind seeing him and meeting his precious fiance. He’s all grown up :) I guess that makes me really grown up… haha yikes!

Anyway, onto the sweet couple!

Fall Mini Sessions

August 18, 2015

We’re coming up on one of my favorite times of the year – Fall Mini Sessions! Usually, I take pictures of lovely families and couples from October through November, but this year might look a weeeee bit different. Our sweet baby girl will be joining us at the beginning of October, so I will be taking fewer sessions, and they will only be in November. I’m not planning on being the world’s best photographer/business woman/e-mail returner in the month of October :) so if you’re interested in booking a Mini Session in November, e-mail me at, and we’ll get it on the calendar.

November 7, 18 and 21 are dates I’ll be taking Midland sessions, and on November 13 and 14, I’ll be in Lubbock for sessions.

Mini Sessions are $175, and that includes up to 30 minutes of shooting, one location, and five fully-edited photos of your choice on a flash drive.

I’m looking forward to seeing so many sweet faces!!

Oh, these two. I know Dillon from my college days at Tech – he is one crazy mofo (do people still say that?). If Dillon is in the room, he’s the one telling captivating stories and making people laugh or engaging people in good conversation. If he’s not in the room and Dillon comes up in conversation, then people start telling hilarious Dillon stories, one after another. Everyone loves Dillon.

I’ve always been curious to see the special lady he’d end up with, and I couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect person for Dil! Kallie is beautiful, passionate, so fun, and my kids love her, so that’s always a plus. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know her, and seeing them together is just the best.

I really can’t believe Dillon lives in Midland. After college, he served our country as an Army Ranger, and it was the weirdest feeling never really knowing where your good friend was or what he was doing or how much danger he was in. Now we have him nice and close and he’s bringing his honey along for the ride. BONUS!!

It really is a shame they never have any fun.

Seriously beautiful people.

The oil field is what brought Dillon to Midland (crazy, right?!!). His pickup brought him here too… hehe.

AND they get married in about a month! Woohooo!

Michael + Kaylyn

October 21, 2014

For my two blog followers out there, you probably recognize this sweet couple. I shot their engagement/bridal/wedding about 4 years ago, and then did a three-year anniversary session last year. And here they are now, looking all beautiful and fallish! They seriously are some of the most kind people I know. Oh, and funny side note… I had a few family sessions before their pictures, so I was in make-kids-laugh mode, and I caught myself playing peekaboo with the dogs at one point… These are my confessions :)

Travis + Jessi – Engagement

September 18, 2014

Texas Tech brought these two together, and not just Texas Tech… but the Chancellor’s office. Travis and Jessi worked in the Chancellor’s office, and amidst their crazy schedule, they somehow found time to fall in looooove.

We started out their engagement session at a ranch in Odonnell. It was a beautiful morning, and the rain held off for us so we could take some pictures! We miiiight have gotten stuck in the mud, but it was an adventure, to say the least :)

Jono + Ashley – Engagement

November 13, 2013

The campus of Harvard Business School is downright beeauuutiful, and if you’ve been on my blog in the past few weeks, you would see that I take a lot of pictures on campus. It’s a special place – that’s for sure. Well, get ready for some different scenery, my friends!

Jono and Ashley wanted to venture out into Boston for pictures, and although I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, I was so excited. We started in Beacon Hill, and then did the rest in Boston Public Garden and Boston Commons. It was so perfect, and this couple who has been together nearly 14 years made it even more fun and beautiful!

Seth + Alicia

August 6, 2013

Long story short, I had a pretty unfortunate roommate situation my first semester as a freshman in college. I won’t get into details, but I’m just sayin, my eyes were opened to things I had never planned on ever wanting to know anything about. Yikes.

At the end of fall semester, she moved out (hallelujer) and ALICIA moved in! She came from a bad roommate situation, too, so we were pretty excited to have each other. So that’s how I know Alicia. Once we started living together, my friends weren’t afraid to come into our dorm room anymore. Gotta love potluck :)

Kaylyn and Michael

July 24, 2013

I shot Kaylyn and Michael’s wedding three years ago today (HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, GUYS!!!). I will always remember their perfect, outdoor wedding, and the special, sweet love Kaylyn and Michael have for each other. If you feel like taking a walk down memory lane with these two, you can check out their engagement, wedding, AND anniversary photos here.

They got married at Vintage Township in Lubbock, so we started our session with a little wedding reminiscing :)

ow ow!!!
