Daley has been wanting to learn more about photography, so I thought, hey, why not make this fun experience for everyone! So she brought three of her friends along, and we had a little session full of laughter, sassyness, and frolicking. When a session includes frolicking, you know it’s gonna be good :)

Now I can say that I’ve started a session before 7 a.m. Wowza. Believe me, it wasn’t an accident that we chose to meet up at Starbucks before we started shooting :)

I enjoyed Taylor and her mom SO MUCH! I think one of my favorite things of being a photographer is becoming friends with strangers. I really do feel like I gained some friends after our tour de Fort Worth, and I absolutely love that.

Taylor was little miss photogenic and had the cutest giggle I’ve ever heard. And she’s an awesome swimmer. I think if I did life all over again, I would be a swimmer. But for now, I just wake up early and go swim laps and pretend I’m competing with the people swimming beside me… these are my confessions, folks. Aaaand now I’m singing Usher in my head. Hello rabbit trail! Onto Miss Taylor!

When I think back to when I left Lubbock last Wednesday, it seems like a looooong time ago. A lot happened since then! A few sessions, some great family time, quality time with old friends, and a beautiful wedding.

Here are some sneak peeks from our sessions… First off, the Jones’. These two were a hoot.

And last but not least, Taylor. My first 2011 senior!

I love meeting new people. I love getting to spend time with them, and by the end of the session, feeling like we’re pretty good buds. And in the middle of all that, finding out how many mutual friends we have. That always blows my mind!

Anyhow, Haley was a joy to be around, and we enjoyed the springtime sunshine like crazy.

Bekah is GORGEOUS. Seriously… can anyone else out there believe she’s a senior in high school? No way, jose.

She’s kind of a big deal in the sports department of life – she’s going to run track at Wayland in the fall.

Senior in college, that is. Elizabeth is graduating from Texas Tech and she’s headed to Dallas the day after she graduates!

Lubbock found it fit to rain 5 days straight. So not only did Caitlin and I get to wear raincoats and carry umbrellas, but we also marched through some of the deepest, nastiest puddles I’ve ever seen. Yay for rainboots, eh?

With all that said, we made it work! Caitlin is adorable and her mom, sister and cousin were troopers as we did a mini tour de Lubbock amidst the downpour.

Kym is GORGEOUS! And she was a joy to be around, too. She has the sweetest parents, who rode along the entire session – all smiles the whole time!

Kym graduates from Texas Tech in May and then she’s off to tryout for the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. You got it, girl :)

Erin and her sweet mama came in from Pampa the other day. Only in Lubbock would it snow one day, and then be an absolutely perfect day for pictures the next day (with a little wind, of course…)

I loved getting to spend some time with these sweet ladies! Erin has some crazy natural beauty going on, she was soooo photogenic. I love when people have no idea how photogenic they are.
