It was my last wedding to shoot for who knows how long. All I know is I’ll be taking a break from weddings. Now is the time to love on my little one :) But still e-mail me if you have any questions! I’ll at least point you in the right direction.

The wedding took place at the beautiful Ashton Gardens in Corinth, and the day couldn’t have come together more beautifully without Delissa, the sweetest and most efficient wedding planner I’ve ever worked with.

And the lovely Shari Henson came along and shot with me. She’s wonderful, guys and gals.

Amanda and Ted had their first look in a little bunch of trees that I fell absolutely in love with!

I was bff with Bevin and her twin sister Megan back in junior high, before my family moved away from Katy, Texas. We were all basically attached at the hip, because that’s what band kids do :) Being around Bevin and her family this past weekend brought back so many memories, and I kept cracking up because Bevin still makes the same facial expressions she did over ten years ago. So funny.

I even drove around where we used to live back in the day… talk about nostalgia! It was fun though. Pretty cool to think what life was like ten years ago, and then have crazy “whoa moments” of how much has changed.

But before I get all emotional, I best post some sweetness from this weekend.

You might remember these love birds from their engagement session. I served Jessica coffee back in my barista days, so it’s been fun getting to know her and Keeton throughout this journey of theirs!

Their wedding day was beautiful, and it took place at a very unique, awesome place! The Heard Museum in McKinney was the perfect site.

Well, I sure do. And they totally brought their fun style and creativity right on into their wedding. It took place at Grand Hotel in downtown McKinney, TX, and it was the perfect venue for their wedding. McKinney is down right adorable, so it was fun to spend a weekend there. It was Shanna and I’s last wedding to shoot together, so that was a little sad… She’s been amazing this summer!

I just love Carlos and Amanda’s story… They met in Russia while they were both overseas for a Summer Project with Campus Crusade. Too cool, huh?
