Oh, where to begin with these two! They are both SO fun, so loving and so grateful. Now that’s fun to be around for an entire day :)

Here’s one of the lovely couple for now!

What an amazing day with an amazing couple. These two were nothing but a delight to work with!

I met up with Tiffany a couple weeks ago to talk over some wedding details, and she told me one of the most awful stories I’ve ever heard… All of their wedding stuff (I mean… ALL of it) was stacked up in boxes in their house, and they got robbed. Yes, you read that correctly. Everything was gone. Everything from her veil to wedding shower gifts and even Charlie’s laptop (which contained his thesis, and had to rewrite!!!). I mean, seriously tragic. Not to mention that Tiffany is one of the most organized, on top of things brides I’ve ever had, so of course, every wedding detail was finished and sitting in one of those boxes.

While she was telling her story, I was looking at her through my teary eyes, probably rehearsing what kinds of hateful things I would say to whoever stole their belongings, and then the amazingness happened. Her and Charlie went to church two days after they were robbed, and the sermon was something about not holding to tightly to material possessions. DANG.

So, long story short (okay maybe it’s still a little long), God did some amazing stuff in Tiffany and Charlie and allowed them to move on and forgive and have an awesome wedding anyway. I was super encouraged by the whole ordeal, and learned so much from the way they handled that situation with grace.

And another thing. Tiffany is one of the most grateful people I’ve ever met. For example. We were taking pictures of Tiffany and Charlie before the wedding, and a couple of her friends drove by. She immediately started tearing up and said, “oh my goodness, they’re so sweet for coming! i can’t wait to see them!!” That happened at least three times while taking pictures. Haha. It was flat out adorable. And then Charlie. He cares SO MUCH for Tiffany, and he’s just a sweet, sweet guy. Get this. He packed their bags for their honeymoon to Hawaii, and Tiffany was 100% confident that he would take care of it. Wowza.

What a FUN day this was! Courtney and I headed to Midland Friday night, so we would be ready to hit the ground running Saturday.

Becky and Keith were both so laid back the entire day, and it was fun to really see them take in every moment and enjoy it fully. These two are in love, folks. Like, bigtime.

Here, we’ll skip ahead, just so you can see right off the bat. CUUUUTE.

But look. They can be serious, too.

Everything started out at Becky’s parents’ house – a Bridal Brunch, getting ready, pictures with the girls… It was so simple and relaxed – I loved it!

Everyone all piled into one big bathroom + good tunes + awesome ladies = so much fun!

One thing I REALLY appreciated about Becky was that she was always open for my suggestions. So instead of Mary Kathryn doing Becky’s makeup in the bathroom, we moved our location in front of this magically-lit window. Pretty, huh?

Same story on this one. Two huge glass doors? Uhhh, yes please!

Where to begin with this lovely day!

The girls were upbeat and happy even at 8 a.m. Now THAT’S when you know it’s going to be a good day! Lot’s of giggles and dance moves and burritos. All things that are good.

And the guys were just as giggly and happy – jammin’ to Pandora and playing chess… wait, what? :)

Kelli and Teddy chose to have a First Look, and those moments together were SO special and full of emotion. We had plenty of time for fun wedding party portraits and even time to spare before the ceremony started.

Everything was just SO them. They were giddy and adorable throughout the ceremony, and danced their way onto the reception. LOT’S of dancing on this day. I loved it!

Hey party people.

I’m actually leaving town (again) bright and early tomorrow morning. This time it’s not photography related. I’m headed to Austin with some girlfriends to go camping, kayaking, hiking, dancing, who knows what else! It’ll be a solid good trip though, and I’m super excited about it. Although SO bummed to be saying goodbye to my hubby once again. He’s a miss-able guy, I tell ya! I love that man.

Anyhow, I wanted to post a little something from Kelli and Teddy’s wedding before I left town. They chose to do a First Look, so we had plenty of time to capture them on their wedding day.

Kelli and Teddy’s wedding was yesterday – MUCH more to come on that. It was wonderful.

But for now, this means that I get to share Kelli’s bridal pictures with all of you!
