The Brown Family

November 24, 2015

Waaaaay back in the day, I was a youth intern at a church in Lubbock. I loved it so much, and some of the relationships built there are the most special friendships I have now. As I was working my last summer with my sweet youth peeps, Lauren started working as a youth intern and we had a little overlap – so that’s when I first met Lauren.

When we lived in Lubbock, we helped plant Redeemer and loooooved that place. It was our church home, and we had (and have) so many dear friends there. In fact, when we lived in Boston, the first few times we would go back to visit Redeemer, I could NOT hold it together. So many tears. We just love that place. ANYWAY.  Fast forward, and Lauren’s sweet family moved to Midland this past summer to plant Redeemer Midland! We are so excited to be a part of a church body led by this family (and another awesome family too!), where the gospel is the center of everything we do as the church. I’m super thankful they were faithful as a family and moved from Dallas to plant Redeemer.

And look how cute they are.

If any Midlanders out there are interested in visiting Redeemer, we’re ‘soft-launching’ January 17 – more info to come on that!
